Thoth
You wake up in a strange room with an altar. You have no memory of how you got here. On top of the altar lies a glass box containing the Book of Thoth. A pit filled with spikes surrounds the altar. A ramp leads upward to the west, and a doorway lies to the north.

A barrier of magical force blocks you from reaching the altar. Even if you could pass the barrier, you would need to cross the pit of spikes to reach the altar. And even if you could reach the altar, you would not be able to grab the book while the glass box was closed.

You try to climb the ramp to the west, but it is too steep and too slippery to climb. You do, however, manage to see into the room at the top of the ramp. In that room, there is a shelf with a blue scroll on it, as well as a staircase leading upwards.

You enter the doorway to the north.
You are in a storage room filled with crates. There is a doorway to the south and a ramp to the north.

You try to climb the ramp to the north, but it is too steep and too slippery to climb.

You try to open the crates. Most of them are sealed, but one is easily opened. It contains a blue scroll.

You grab the scroll. You recognize it as a scroll of Hover.

You read a scroll of Hover. The scroll crumbles to dust, but you briefly begin hovering over the ground.

While hovering, you manage to climb the ramp to the north. You land shortly after reaching the top of the ramp.
You are in an antechamber with an ornate statue depicting Thoth. There is a large closed door to the north. A ramp leads downwards to the south. A staircase leads upwards.

The door to the north is sealed. You will have to find another way out.

You are in a simple room. There are a few seats that look like they might be used for meditation. A ramp leads downwards to the south. A staircase leads downwards.

You descend the ramp to the south, struggling to avoid falling.
You are in a room full of chairs arranged around tables, perhaps a dining room. A ramp leads upwards to the north. There is a doorway to the south and a closed door to the west.

You try to climb the ramp to the north, but it is too steep and too slippery to climb.

You proceed through the doorway to the south.
You are in what looks like an office, with a desk, a chair, and a few shelves. There is a doorway to the north. Behind the desk is a window, high up on the wall to the west.

By climbing on the desk, you are able to see through the window. You see part of another room, higher than the one you are currently in - although not by a whole floor. You can see the top of a spiral staircase leading downward and, beyond it, a ramp that leads downward to the west. Unfortunately, the window is too small for you to squeeze through.

You open the desk drawers. Inside, you see a blue scroll and a red scroll.

You grab the blue scroll, which you recognize as a scroll of Hover, and the red scroll, which you recognize as a scroll of Reach.

You try to push on the strange door. It does not open when pushed, and the only apparent way to open it is a handle next to the ceiling, which is out of your reach.

You read a scroll of Reach. The scroll crumbles to dust, but your arms start to grow longer.

With your magically lengthened arms, you manage to grab the handle on the ceiling. With some effort, you manage to pull the door down, opening it.

You go through the door to the north. As your arms return to their normal length, the door closes behind you, revealing a similar handle on the other side.
You are in a strange library. The walls are covered in shelves, full of books that you do not recognize. On one shelf, you see a blue scroll and a red scroll.
You hear an otherworldly sound that you somehow instinctively know is the shattering of a magical barrier. The ground begins to shake, and stones fall from the ceiling. You sense that it will not be long before the building collapses. Your best hope to escape is the magic contained in the Book of Thoth, but you must reach it as quickly as possible.
