Nephthys
Nephthys didn't just create rivers. She could also control them in ways that were not normally possible, such as causing them to flow in a closed loop. She once did this to aid the Honeycomb, a group of intelligent insects that grew colorful flowers in hexagonal regions. This was not an easy task, because the flowers all had different requirements.
The river formed a single closed loop within the Honeycomb's territory, winding around the borders of the regions but not passing through any of them.
Green regions were inside the region enclosed by the river, while red regions were outside that region.
Blue regions had an odd number of their sides with the river flowing through them, while orange regions had an even number.
Yellow regions touched a single, unbroken part of the river spanning one or more of their sides, while purple regions touched two or more parts of the river separated by sides that did not touch the river.
